I painted this on Saturday on a rural road outside of Glen Rose.  There there distance hills covered in blue bonnets. It was difficult to find a place to park and difficult to narrow my focus.  I finally settled down and this was my result.  I was thrilled to be there and hope it shows.  This is available for purchase.  $300.00

Fossil Rim Bluebonnets

I painted this today on the outskirts of Fossil Rim in Glen Rose.  Fossil Rim is a wildlife center and filled with wild animals and wildflowers. 

I met my friends, Jill Randall, Joyce Thomas and Vickie Guthrie there to enjoy the warm temperatures and seasonal flowers. The flowers are in full bloom and just spectacular this year.  They are a sight to see and enjoy. We were thrilled to be outside painting together. This is available for purchase $250.00

I met artist, Jill Randall, Claudia Davis and Candy Clynch at Janice Weaver's house in Aledo. She lives out in the country and shared the neighborhood blue bonnets with us. I painted this yesterday morning on a nice back road outside of Glen Rose, Texas.  I called one of my local friends to find out where the bluebonnets were and her husband directed us to this sweet spot.  It was a quite and peaceful setting. The only traffic we saw were a car and a few bicycles.

This was painted from the banks of the Brazos River in Granbury. I really ramped up the color with this one and I love it. The winds were very gusty and knocked over my Easy L pallet, brushes, painting and all went splat. This painting comes with more sand texture that originally intended.
