It's the time of the year when all the stores have poinsettia for sale. When I saw this shade of the pink, I grabbed it.  I waited for the sun to come out and the weather to allow me to paint outside and did this.  Painting from life is the way to go.

I created this during a paint out with the Outdoor Painter's Society in Glen Rose.

It also happened to be a gathering for the Sisters on the Fly camp out.  These gals know how to have fun.  They were thrilled to find us painting on the camp grounds.  Fun times!
