"Shift Change, Dallas West End - Pastel 12"X18" ©2014 Niki Gulley Another one of my Dallas pastel pieces. This one is of the Landry's in the Dallas West End. When doing this piece, I didn't realize that it would become a piece of Dallas history. This piece shows wait staff taking a break or a possible sift change, hence the name of the piece "Shift Change". The pastels do a wonderful job of capturing a very calm, inviting scene. The lights on the trees, the wait staff in formal attire but at ease. The leading lines take you to the people walking towards the restaurant. Very inviting.
