This one was done standing beneath the overhang at Hamilton Pool 

with the falls cascading just outside the left border of my painting. A beautiful hill country gem.  

When you stay in one place for a couple of hours, totally focused and involved in making a painting it produces a wonderful awareness of life. I still hear the splash of the falls, smell the freshness of the water, hear the sounds of birds, the talking and laughing visitors, and see the miraculous light illuminating everything.
