Hardy Hibiscus

I love the abstract quality of the hibiscus flowers when they are spent and on their way out. The flowers are known as "saucer hibiscus", "disco belle rosy red" and hardy hibiscus and do well in the Texas heat. I painted this on a sunny afternoon in my garden. It was completed with a palette knife and all in one setting. This is available for purchase. $200.00
