In the upper level of the main cannery building at Snug Harbor is the net loft where fishing nets are hung, mended, and stored.  This net was piled in a corner.  I loved the way the net moved across the floor though anchored by the cork line and lead line.  I felt the unique atmosphere of the dim and vast ancient net loft as I painted.
