This oil painting was completed “alla prima”(all in one session) in “plein air”(outdoors). These Italian and French terms just sound more artistic than the English versions! I had the honor of having this painting chosen for the recent Plein Air Artists of Colorado show held at Wilder-Nightingale Gallery in Taos, NM.
