Sunflower Fields Forever

This was painted in Waxahachie during Paint Historic Waxahachie this week. 

My friend, and artist George de Chiara introduced me to this field of sunflowers. Check out his work, he does an awesome job.  It was a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. The clouds were thick and parting occasionally letting the sun peak through at times. The light was inconsistent, making it a challenge. This painting sold.
